Discovering Profits in Virgin Territory

A Very Special Land Development Company

Distinguished American psychiatrist, Elbin Orellana, MD, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a Guatemalan native who has been deeply involved in building local schools and free health clinics in the many Mayan communities in and around Puerto Barrios on the Bahia de Amatique in eastern Guatemala for decades.

This area, once the banana headquarters of the United Fruit Company, remains undiscovered by most international travelers, even though the area offers pristine rainforest jungle right next to a calm bay and the crystal clear warm waters of the Caribbean.  The area also provides a central base from which to explore the nearby protected Mayan ruins of both Guatemala and Honduras, the fantastic Rio Dulce, Lake Izabal, the tropical golden beaches and amazing coral reefs of its closest neighbor, Belize.

In 2004, a group of American investors visited the area with Dr. Orellana and realized right away the enormous unrecognized potential for the destination.  What they found was a proverbial paradise and eco-tourist virgin territory!  In addition to finding natural attractions overlooked previously by most international tourists, the group also realized an opportunity to benefit from Guatemala's eco-tourism trends over the recent years.  Guatemala has witnessed a tremendous growth (35%) in international arrivals over the past year, and many expect this is just the beginning of a multi-year boom.  The country is rich with Spanish Colonial culture, preserved Mayan cities, tombs and temples, and a newly established tourism infrastructure is aggressively marketing the destination to international adventurers and traders.  As tourism increases to what is the heart of the Ancient Mayan Empire, travelers and tour operators will seek out new eco-tourism products and destinations.  Many will want to stay and build their dream homes right on the Caribbean on the "sweet" rivers, because the cost of living is very low.

Rio Dulce Canoe

Vista Bahia, LLC is a Michigan corporation seeking venture capital from investors who see the vision and profit potential of owning tracts of undeveloped real estate on the waterfront in the Caribbean.  Vista Bahia Ventures has already acquired 660 acres of beachfront and rainforest property on the bay in the Carribean with plans to expand its land holdings in the same area, in the Province of Izabal, Guatemala.  We invite you to join us by investing in this incredible enterprise before the prices rise.

The Bahia Vista Mission

Eco-tourism is the BEST Plan for Development in Guatemala: Gateway to the Ancient Mayan Empire!

The Governments of Belize, Costa Rica and Guatemala have all signed a treaty to protect the natural wildlife, coral reefs and beautiful paradise of the Yucatan and Mayan region.  Vista Bahia plans to develop with Eco-Tourism in mind so visitors and those wanting to own beach front homes will always be able to enjoy the beauty of a natural, untouched environment, yet have access to the usual amenities.  This area of Guatemala hosts the most exotic types of tropical birds on earth.  Bird watching and jaguar spotting are favorites in the rainforest... as well as seeing many manatees, dolphins and whales frolicking in Amatique Bay.  In this "Land of Eternal Spring," a different variety of gorgeous tropical flower blooms each month, all year around.  Guatemala is renowned for its beauty and gracious people.
